How do I start or stop a recording?
Slowly press ∗21 (star, then two, then one) on your telephone. Everyone will hear an announcement confirming that the meeting is being recorded.
Do my participants know the meeting is being recorded?
Yes. Even if someone joins the meeting late they will still hear an announcement.
Can I pause recording?
Yes. You can start/stop recording as many times in the meeting as you like by pressing ∗21 (star, then two, then one).
In the recording download email, you will see that each section of your meeting is broken into a different MP3 file.
Do I get charged for each recording in a meeting?
No, you are only charged once for the meeting regardless of how many MP3 files you may have broken the meeting down into.
Do I need to stop recording at the end of the teleconference?
We recommend that at the end of the meeting you either end recording (∗21) or disconnect all lines (##).
If you forget you can always call back in as the call leader and press ## to ensure the call ends and recording is stopped.
Is there a maximum recording length?
The maximum recording length is five hours.
If you will be holding a really long meeting we’d suggest that you break the recording into more manageable chunks. Your attendees will also appreciate this!

How do I receive the recording?
An email containing a download link is emailed to the call leader 10-15 minutes after the last line disconnects from the meeting.
This email can go to one or more people that you have nominated in your account.
The recording is an MP3 file.
How do I share the recording?
Either forward the email from us to the person / people you would like to have the recording, or cut and paste the download link into your own email.
How long is the recording kept?
It’s your recording, so we are keen that you download it. We keep it for 60 days so that you have plenty of time.
How can I edit the recording?
If using a PC or Mac, download free software called Audacity. It’s really good!
Using a phone or tablet, there are many free apps available.
